    Yes, our retreats welcome participants of all levels, including beginners. Our experienced instructors and coaches provide guidance and support tailored to each individual's needs and abilities.
  • What can I expect to experience during a wellness retreat?
    During our wellness retreats, you can expect to experience a blend of rejuvenating activities such as yoga and meditation sessions, nutritious meals, personal coaching and development workshops, therapeutic massage and energy work, and guided excursions into nature.
  • How long do your retreats typically last?
    Our retreat durations vary depending on the specific program, but they typically range from a weekend getaway to week-long immersive experiences.
  • Can I attend a retreat alone or do I need to come with a group?
    You are welcome to attend our retreats alone or with a group of friends or family. Our retreats provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants. Private group retreats are also available. Contact us at support@solfirewellness for more information!
  • What types of accommodations are available during the retreat?
    We offer comfortable, luxurious rooms situated amidst the beautiful natural surroundings of Pagosa Springs. We offer both single and shared accommodation plans and pricing.
  • What should I bring with me to the retreat?
    We recommend bringing comfortable clothing suitable for yoga and outdoor activities, sturdy walking shoes, house shoes, bathing suit, a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent, a journal, and any personal items you may need for your stay.
  • What is the cancellation policy for retreat bookings?
    Each retreat booking is secured with a $500 non-refundable deposit. If you need to cancel after your retreat is paid in full, we will reach out to make arrangements to transfer your credit (minus non-refundable $500 deposit) towards one of our future retreats!
  • Are meals provided during the retreat? What kind of food is served?
    Yes, nutritious meals are provided during the retreat, featuring locally sourced ingredients and a focus on apothecarian cuisine that nourishes both body and soul. We accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences whenever possible.
  • Can I request specific dietary accommodations?
    Yes, we are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences. Once your retreat is booked, you will receive a packet of information with releases and a short questionnaire to be completed before your phone consultation. Anything not covered in the information packet can be addressed during your phone consultation.
  • Are there any age restrictions for attending the retreats?
    We strive to create a serene and focused environment conducive to holistic healing and self-discovery for all our guests. As such, while we appreciate the interest of younger individuals in our retreat experiences, we are unable to accommodate guests under the age of 18 at this time. We believe this policy allows us to maintain the tranquil atmosphere and tailored experiences that our adult guests seek, ensuring everyone can fully immerse themselves in the transformative journey we offer. We hope to welcome younger participants in the future as we continue to evolve and expand our offerings.
  • How many participants are typically in each retreat group?
    At our wellness retreats, we pride ourselves on providing intimate and personalized experiences tailored to the needs of each participant. To ensure that every guest receives the attention and support they deserve, we intentionally keep our retreat groups small, with a maximum of eight participants. This allows us to foster a close-knit community where individuals can connect deeply with one another, share their journey, and receive individualized guidance from our experienced instructors and coaches. By maintaining small group sizes, we create a warm and welcoming environment where each participant can feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their transformative retreat experience.
  • Is transportation provided to and from the retreat location?
    Airport transfers to and from DRO in Durango, CO are available for an additional fee. Links to book local transport services will be provided in your information packet. There is plenty of free on-site parking available for those who choose to drive.
  • Are there any additional activities or excursions included in the retreat package?
    Each retreat offers different activities and excursions depending upon the program and the season. All of the planned group activities and excursions are included in your retreat price. Individual development sessions, massage and energy work are also included in the price unless stated otherwise.
  • Can I book additional services, such as massages or private coaching sessions, during the retreat?
    Unless otherwise specified, your retreat includes the following one-on-one, 90 minute development sessions: Life Coaching Exercise Yoga and Meditation Food as Medicine/Herbology Massage and Energy Work Additional services and one-on-one development sessions may be arranged during your phone consultation or during your stay for an additional fee.
  • Is there Wi-Fi and cell phone service available at the retreat location?
    At our retreat, we understand the importance of staying connected, which is why we provide Wi-Fi access for our guests. However, due to our serene mountain location, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Cell phone reception may also be spotty in some areas. While we aim to offer connectivity whenever possible, we encourage our guests to embrace the opportunity to unplug and disconnect from the digital world during their time with us. This retreat is a chance to immerse yourself fully in the present moment, reconnect with nature, and focus on your personal well-being without distractions. Disconnecting can be a valuable part of the retreat experience, allowing you to recharge and find inner peace away from the demands of everyday life.
  • Are pets allowed to accompany guests on the retreat?
    While we adore our furry friends, pets are not allowed at any retreat. This policy is in place to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, as well as to maintain the serene and focused atmosphere conducive to relaxation and rejuvenation.
  • How do I book a retreat and what forms of payment do you accept?
    Booking your retreat with us is simple and convenient. You can reserve your spot directly through our website, where you'll find detailed information about our upcoming retreats and availability. We understand the importance of flexible payment options, which is why we utilize Square as our trusted payment processor. This means that we accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as any other forms of payment supported by Square. Additionally, we can accommodate payments made in cash or cashier's checks. However, regardless of the payment method you choose, please note that all retreats must be paid in full prior to your arrival. This ensures a smooth and hassle-free check-in process, allowing you to focus on your wellness journey from the moment you arrive.
